| Pot on the Fire: Further Exploits of a Renegade Cook by John Thorne Just read the passage titled "Knowing Nothing About Wine". He nicely elaborates on how he and his wife have learned about wine through the years and how it is a struggle. It's nice to read his criticisms about wine retailers, writers, and reviewers. And he also admits not to liking wine that much. | | | |

| Touching the Void. It's old, but I love these mountaineering, disaster stuff, like Into Thin Air. In my next life, I'm going to be a mountainclimber. | | | |

| I loved "Into Thin Air". Whenever I'm in the mood for a good cry I'll re-read that one. I'm a mountainclimber only in my mind though.
"Lisey's Story" by Stephen King. It was very different than what I was expecting but entertaining with good characters. | | | |
