What's gas going for in Canada? We're headed up to Ottawa in two weeks and usually gas up just before the border. Maybe cheaper in Canada now.

$1.94 for 87. Not much of a bite since I'm only 2 miles from work. But you should see what we have to pay for wine!

JB- I feel your pain (75+ miles each way for me). One of the main reasons I dumped my Dodge Dakota and picked up a Mitz. Endeavor. Still sucks when I think 6 months ago I was getting regular for 1.39 a gallon....

1.769 for regular at Costco. Most others are around 1.85-1.89 for regular. I guess it's good to be in Texas. I won't be complaining as much after seeing some of these prices.

The price has gone up about 10 cents from the beginning of last week. Ouch.

$1.96 for 93 octane. Dinwiddie and TJ, I think Laurel only seems cheap because the rest of the DC metro area is insane (at least downtown Rockville is insane). You gotta go to Northern Baltimore County to get the really good prices!

True raybanz. Actually, Southern PA is pretty excellent in pricing too. Whenever we visit Mrs. TJ's mother, we tank up before we head back south.

Regular = $2.30
Mid = $2.55
Premium = $2.70

This is on Oahu, god forbid what the prices are on Maui and such. Probably an extra 15-30 cents a gallon

Luckily I only live 3 miles from work and do not drive much besides that.

Regular here is C$ .98/liter, or about US$2.60/US gallon.

We seem to have a BS price war every week or two; today it's down to C$ .92, but it'll be back up tomorrow. What a crock!

2.039 this morning in Fredericksburg for 93. Same day at home here in Arlington: 2.139. Why? Reformulated gas for the summer.

I paid $2.25 for mid-grade on Sat. Ya know, I understand the thermodynamics behind octane ratings and how higher octane ratings are basically meaningless for most of today's cars, yet I still pay extra for higher octane. Go figure.

GEEZ LOUISE! That's almost $3 per gallon!!

At Henke's - a family-owned gas station on Hwy.16 between F'burg and Kerrville. Takes only cash and they're open when they want to be:
- Diesel: $1.63/gal.
- Unleaded: $1.83/gal.
- Premium: $1.93/gal.

The taxi driver said that he's actually taking a 2nd job in order to pay for the gas price increase. Poor guy drives the cab 12 hours a day and still has to work more in order to make ends meet. Of course, I didn't tip him extra just in case it was a sob story

What are the odds that the oil companies will have record profits this quarter? Does Vegas have a line on this?

If you live in Jersey, head to Costco. $1.83 with or without a membership.

Oh, never mind that. Randy Johnson (former Mariner, World champ ) )just pitched a Perfect game. Gotta love him.
