This is a Jim Clendenen project from the Russian River.  I picked this up at Bottle Barn in Healdsburg for $31.

Dark garnet color. Aromas of oak, black cherry, blackberries, and alcohol. On the palate, rich blackberries predominate, with some oak and some bitterness (alcohol related?). The finish was medium in length and had a little bitter streak. More tannic than most Pinots I've had. Not great now, I expect that it will be better in another five years. (89 pts.)
