| We went over to some "beer loving" friends house last night for a wonderful Cippino dinner. I brought three bottles of '01 G&L. The wine glasses were her very expensive Waterford crystal.
It is AMAZING how much difference drinking the wine out of the proper glass makes. These glasses were beautiful but did NO justice to the wine. | | | |

I figured that a Burgundian glass would be the proper glass for Barolo. Thanks for the reassurance!

I agree with the above posts. I use my Spiegelau Burg stems for all things Nebbiolo.
I can still smell and taste that '89 Pio Cesare Barolo I had in the summer. I'm sure most people here are sick of hearing my bring that up continually. | | | |
