| 2006 Oberbergener Bassgeige Rülander Auslese
A relative recently went to Europe and gave me this wine as a gift. It's a half liter bottle if that matters. Based on the vintage, producer, varietal and that it is a hand selected or "Auslese" wine can anybody out there give me a guess as to when it might be near its' optimum since I only have one bottle to consume?

| Do you think that would help?

| | Yes that does help. Winzergenossenschaft is a coop, which is a lot diiferent then say if Franz Keller (who also produces from Oberbergener Bassgeige) were producing the wine. I would say with this Pinot Gris, to err on the side of youth and drink it in the next year or so. | | | |
