My tasting group is having a best-bottle contest with the prize being dinner.  We've really never done this before.  It will be blind and no one will know who brought what.

Don't tell anyone (none post here but do occasionally lurk - if one of you is lurking stop reading right here)!

Just like this kid should stop looking!

WHAT!

I am "entering" a 1998 Domaine du Pagau CDP, Cuvée da Capo.  My question is should I decant it and if so for how long.

TIA

Great photo! I am not a fan of long decants so I would decant it for about an hour then pour back in the bottle. It shouldn't have too much sediment. Have a good time!

I am not a fan of decanting at all but I didn't know if this particular wine might need an hour or two. I'll decant it right now and put it back in the bottle at 5:00pm.

Thanks
