For our next Cave Club spelunking, we're doing Pinots...Cali, Oregon, and Burgundy. I was thinking of leading off with the Calis (ZD Carneros and Martinelli) then going with the Oregons (Ponzi Vineyards and Hamacher) then the Burgs (Domaine Gabriel Billard Pommard and Domaine Roumier Morey-Saint-Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussiere), thinking of a lighter-to-heavier (although the band might be thin) approach. Any better ideas? |
