Anyone else get shell shocked when they opened the Continuum mailer and see the 3 or 6 bottle shipment option at a price tag of $125 per bottle before shipping?!?!?
Seems like a steep premium for the Mondavi name.
Opinions?

Far be it for me to come to the defense of a $125 start-up. But it's not like Mondavi is a newbie to the wine world. This price is about even with Mondavi Private Reserve and less than Opus. I don't think it is beyond the pale for him to price his wine in line with the top echelon of wines that his former company(ies) put out. And it's not like he is asking $200+ for the wine like other first-timers. Bottom line is that I just can't put Tim Mondavi in the "first-timer" category. Still, a tasting note from a reliable source would be needed for me to consider this, and even still, one would expect to find it at retail for a fair bit less in the near future.
Beta testing a new signature.

I'm intrigued by this project...
But agree with you Jimmy, would be nice to see TN from someone other than the big boys.
