Very light garnet in color; Tasted double blind and I really had no idea what varietal it was although it was obviously European in nature. Nothing on the nose. Initially I got some strawberry/raspberry fruit and herb flavors with minerals on the finish. Balanced but the color and very slight cloudiness totally threw me. Interesting wine that matched well with the food. Somewhat Provence-like in nature. (88 pts.)
