Lovely to look at, gem-like color in the glass, clear throughout. Spiced cherry/cola/berry nose. Ripened fruits with a bit of bacon (mmm). Medium tannins, nice acid balance; ready to drink with a bit of air, but no doubt will improve in the next six months. This is a very nice Pinot, guys!

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits... ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

A rockin' good wine and a ridiculous steal at $30. Intriguing funk on the nose, in a good way. Not just fruit and oak. Unique these days. Cherry cola and Christmas spice, and I'll sign on to the bacon mentioned by kpak. Probably a result of the Sonoma Coast birthplace, but this is not simply a carbon copy of what Ed has done at AW or Freeman.

The 04s rocked also, Jimmy, in my opinon for the money. The 04s are all gone for me. I have not tried any of the 05s. But, I am glad to hear.

Wow ! - My first Sandler pinot and it exceeded all expectations. Kpak's flavor description is exactly what we experienced.
