I don't have much experience with Malbec but this was a nice wine. It presented a bit like a Spanish Temperanillo. My notes are very different than other notes in CT on this wine. As this bottle was purchased in Argentina and brought back to the US it is possible that it is a different lot and/or in better condition than others.
- 2002 Lindaflor (Clos de los Siete) Malbec - Argentina, Mendoza, Valle de Uco (2/29/2008)
Inky purple in color; Blackberry and spice aromas and flavors with a smoke on the finish. Shorter finish. Very dry and went well with food. Balanced even with 15% alcohol. A pristine bottle purchased in Argentina. Nice wine. (89 pts.)
