| | Did you get an email about this? I was poking at the site; saw the notes and prices on this release, but it looked like it wasn't going out until February and March. | | | |

I'm in for the Syrah and maybe the Chardonnay. Probably not for the Pinot. I am cutting back.

| | I should have mentioned that I hadn't purchased since the 2001's even though I love the wines, so my allocation probably didn't reflect everything that was offered. | | | |

| | I got the e-mail today too. Same allocation as Jcocktosten. I don't know what I'm going to buy, if any. I'm trying to cut back, but I do love the Savoy. I have also really enjoyed the R-C Zins in the past, but none are offered in this mailing. I just don't know if I can justify buying as much as I have in the past. | | | |

| | Love the Savoy, one of my favorite Pinots. Unfortunately they don't ship to ND and I don't want to go through the hassle of finding somewhere else to ship to. | | | |

| There are two releases now (second in the fall of 2008) where the VW Zin and the Cherry Camp/Timbervine Syrahs are going to be offered.
I'm in for some, though I haven't decided what I want. R-Cs are some of my favorite wines in my cellar.

| In for 20 Pinots and asked for 4 more. As alluded to in the Rivers-Marie thread, this is one of the producers that provides me a hefty allocation which allows me to watch the wine develop as well as share with friends. I find this more enjoyable than coveting lots of single bottles from numerous producers. As for shipping, on an order this size it comes out to just under $7 ber bottle. By no means the least I pay, but certainly in the ballpark what most wineries charge. | | Beta testing a new signature. | |

| | We tend to buy heavy from RC, as others have said, we have always really enjoyed their wines. | | | |

| I've bought R-C since day 1... but I'll have to consider skipping this vintage... I might just buy a few select items. Still deciding! These mailers are just killing me.... on the other hand, it's my wife that will be killing me!Â

| | Riding the fence on this one. I have not been impressed with the Pinot’s lately, there is a lot of great PN out there and I’ve flat run out of room. | | | |

| Dave, PM me what you got and I might bite on a few bottles...
Incidentally, two-day air from R-C is cheaper than from Premier Cru (I'd still like R-C to offer ground, but oh well...)

| It's probably just me, but I find this to be a fascinating thread and think this will be an interesting test of a winery's "hotness".
Radio-Coteau's popularity exploded with their second vintage and people were climbing over each other to get on the mailing list. A couple of years later the situation has changed: there are other, newer "hot" producers; people's cellars are getting fuller (and their bank accounts emptier!); the Radio-Coteau's Pinots got less-than-stellar scores from Parker - (88-90) - and the price is now $50/bottle. Will the wines sell as quickly? Will they be able to sell everything to the mailing list? Stay tuned!
[Full Disclosure: I've met Eric Sussman a few times, think he's a terrific winemaker and like his wines a lot. I also sell his wines in my shop.]

| Not sure, but I think his production also increased? I think he's also not been the most skillful at developing/executing a direct sales business plan and has managed to unintentionally alienate some buyers. For myself, I've been a middling level buyer and have generally been very happy with his wines.
