Tank sample, hands down the best Albarino I have ever had. Pale straw, green, medium nose of tangerines, candy, peach, citrus, pit fruits and minerals. Medium body, high complexity, high acidity, long length. Lean and crisp yet somehow mouth filling at the same time with penetrating flavors. 92-95pts.

Wow, that's very high praise - where is the Valenti vineyard, and how much will this retail at?

Valenti is on Mendocino Ridge (AVA), located on the road out to Elk. I do not believe it will be available at retail, only through the mailing list. Very small production, I believe there were four beer kegs full, and that was it.

That is fascinating - thanks for the TN. Sound like a big clam bake at the winery can drain the whole production...
