| | Cloudy with a hazy, moderately concentrated purple core extending to a ruby rim. Medium viscosity, medium intense nose of olive tapenade, wet earth/potting soil, tar, green herbs and a light hint of blackberry. Medium bodied, moderate plus acidity, low alcohol, low tannin, low complexity and a long finish. Lightly tart with more of the earthy, herbal, olive notes of the nose with tart currants. Balanced, and at $12 I was a hoping for a nice No. Rhone Syrah daily drinker. Unfortunately that is not to be. 83pts on a good day. | | | |

| Wasn't thrilled with the wine so there was plenty left to try some more tonight. Outcome, drain or cooking. This now taste liked someone ashed their cigar in here. This sucks. I guess I have always stuck to pretty good producers in C-H; Graillot, Y.Chave, Ramizieres etc. and maybe I shouldn't stray. Score today:74pts.
