Tasted September 4, 2007. 13.5% alcohol. Opened and served immediately. Dark garnet color in the glass, cloudy or dusty looking throughout. Nose of jammy currants, menthol and root beer. Muddled flavors of red licorice, tart berries and dried herbs. Light acidity, light to medium tannins, medium body. I would say drink over the short term but based on the visual and palate I strongly suspect this wine suffered from poor provenance. No rating or recommendation. NR (flawed)
