Tasted July 22, 2007 as part of the Wino Depot Tasting With Friends event for July. Opened and served immediately in a Spiegelau Authentis Weiss Wein glass. Yellow color in the glass, clear hue throughout. Nose of light diesel notes, peaches and honeysuckle. Flavors of sweet peaches, apricots and dried pineapple. Light to medium acidity and body. Dry in nature the fruit is so pronounced it almost comes off as off dry. Interesting. Drink over the medium term. (88 pts.) |
