| Had this wine with Pork Medallions with Riesling reduction and Apples to commemorate 9/11. God bless everyone.
Opened for 1.5 hrs before tasting. Color is a deep garnet to blood. Nose is wonderful, classic burgundy perfume of roses, violets and cherries. Medium bodied with lots of black cherry, spice and a shade of oak. Lively long finish. A premier cru, probably consumed too young. I don't care. On this day, I wanted something I knew would be good. jb rating 91
