We were surprised at how much we liked this wine. RC was one of the wineries that I was on the fence about ordering. Now I think Eric Sussman may be doing something special with the Savoy fruit. Very tasty with a crisp finish. Worth the $$ at ~$52. 2006 Radio-Coteau Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Anderson Valley (4/19/2008) Clear medium ruby in color; Thoroughly enjoyable, balanced, medium-bodied Pinot Noir. Had all the '06's with Eric two weeks ago. I thought across the board all of them were very nice, fruit forward wines. Definitely not as well structured as the 05, though the Chard was head over heels better.

Interesting you say that Jason. And, the chard is what I have not been purchasing because I did not like it in the past. Perhps with the next mailer I should consider it then.

I bought the Chardonnay this time.
