Any ideas on snacks (not meals) to serve with Bordeaux besides the tried and true standards ("hey, wine and cheese! How...original")?  I feel like I'm in a rut.

The problem isn't with the food.  Its with the wine.  Red Bordeaux isn't an easy match with modern cuisine imo.
