| I'm helping a friend put together a wine list for a Japanese 'fusion' / sushi restaurant in SoHo. I plan on recommending some champagne/sparkline wines, rieslings, chardonnays, vouvrays, and a few reds.
Here's a list of German producers he can choose from one distributor. As a winegeek, would you get excited over any of these? (there are many individual bottlings for each that I can supply if necessary...)
August Kesseler Blue Fish Blue Nun (are they serious?) Deinhard Diel Dorsheimer JL Wolf Estate Grans Fassian Kesseler Leonard Kreusch SA Prum Sichel Weingut Max Ferd. Richter
Thanks in advance!!! | | | |

| | Nothing exciting there. Also don't forget Austrian and Alsatian producers as well. Also look at Gruner Veltliners and Muller Thurgau as they pair wonderfully with this type of food. | | | |

| Wow... Blue Nun
You mentioned Vouvray - if they are in the market for wine in the Blue Nun price range, I would also suggest some other Loire white appellations. For example, there are lots of nice Muscadets in the </=$10 range. | | | |

| Nothing to get excited about. Deinhard is probably the best of those.
