i have 6 bottles of wine waiting to ship from California because the weather this time of year in NH. for those members that live in the northeast, when do you normally start shipping your wine this time of year?

late march...early april, but you still need to be careful with those wonderful Nor'easters popping up every now and then

In general, I also like to ship late March or early April, the earlier the better depending on the weather forecast.

If its going ground, then the timeframe above is appropriate. I've done 2nd day air when I see there is a break in the cold like we had a couple of weeks ago when it was in the High 40's low 50's, but that's on a rare basis.

I made the mistake of shipping a case of wine last year ground in January. I received a Pride Popsicle and a few others that were a bit slushy. I drank the frozen one that weekend and it tasted fine, but I vowed never to go ground in the winter again.
