| Had the 2001 Prunaio this past weekend at a Tuscan restaurant on the Cape (great place, btw). Anyway, the wine was quite good and I'm considering buying a few bottles. Wine Searcher reveals only one shop that carries the 2001. Several places listed carry the 2000.
Does anyone know anything about this producer or this wine? The Chianti and Chianti Classico seems to be widely available, but not the Prunaio. | | | |

| | It's a single vineyard sangiovese grosso from the Chianti Classico region in Tuscany. Fattoria Viticcio also has some vineyards in Bolghieri that they are now producing a blend from as well. Never had it personally. Also if you want to find other shops, type it into google and it will pull up shops that carry the wine that might not participate with wine searcher.
