Another good left coast retailer.North Berkeley Imports The good- a wide array of European wines by a retailer acting as their own importer. I have ordered some really good wines in absolutely pristine condition from NB. Their customer service is superb and they went above and beyond to rectify a shipping problem with one of my orders. Their shipping prices are reasonable. The not-so-good - Few prices and inventory on their website (is this because of their importer status???) And small inventories mean they sell out quickly. Not necessarily bad unless you try something then go back to buy more.

Bumping up for additions. ******************* They continue to have good smaller producer offerings. I've been pleased with some of the champagnes I've ordered from them.

Bumping up for additions for the new year. One of their major advantages is the condition of the wines they source - most of the wines I've received have been prisitine. I've paid slightly more for some wines from NB with faith that their importing and storage is good. They also have some wines from smaller producers that can be quite interesting. Same comment as above for a negative - if you like a wine you have to buy it at the time as their inventory is not huge on some wines.
