| VCers,
I had the opportunity to quaff a "Bardolino" this weekend. It was slightly sweet, lighter than a Tuscan wine, and refreshing. It seemed to me to be a good first bottle wine, in a multi-bottle attack to a dinner or meal. I think it was a blend of sangiovese, corvina, and others.
Can anyone provide insight and experience with this type/region?
Thanks,

| | Bardolino is from the Veneto region. It should be similar to valpolicella. | | | |
