| As I pop this 2001 Selvole Sangiovese, I was wondering if my Bordeaux glasses or my Burgundy glasses were the "correct" stemware! I always used the Bordeaux, but wtf, I thought I'd ask....
Please advise, quickly. I am drinking this in the next 30 mins!!!

Bordeaux
agree
If I had a Chardonnay glass I would use that because it has a smaller bowl.

| Yeah, I stuck with my Reidel Bordeaux glasses. I have 4 of the short stem version, for casual drinking...

| | Spiegelau Authentis Series has a "Rot Wein" glass that is in between the Chardonnay and Bordeaux glass. Works pretty good with Zinfandel. | | Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. | |

| I have the Speiglau Bord and Burg glasses. They are nice bowls. My only issue is that they have a somewhat delicate feel, because of the stems. That why I grabbed the Reidel Bord glasses with the shorter stem. They feel solid.

wiml - I have these as well and find them good for riesling, sangiovese, and may experiment and also try them for zinfandel

kpak, we use them for all of the above as well including Zinfandel. Depending on the wine (i.e. Big Zin, Super Tuscan) we'll step up to the Bordeaux stem as needed. | | Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone.
