You forgot crabs!
I had the most nasty wine from a Solomons Island winery at the Oyster festival last fall. It was red I think. P-too. Another white they made was actually drinkable. | |

| I live right around the corner from what is the most highly regarded winery in Maryland (along with Linganore). We finally went there for a tasting event last summer. The riesling and chard were basic and bland, but the "estate" wine, a cab blend, was quite unpalatable. As a bonus, the mrs. and I both got bad headaches.
FWIW, Berrywine makes some enjoyable fruit wines (aka: not really wine). The rasberry is good and the blueberry is really good.
I'd love to support a local product, but so far the proof is not in the pudding. | | | |
