Rich, deep color.  Nice plummy leathery perfume and a palate that is not primarily fruit driven.   There is some blueberry, but much more about spice-woods, tobacco and alot of licorice (anise).  This evolved nicely over several hours.  Tannins are fairly soft for a young wine.  Not very long on the finish but good stuff while it's there.

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has it's limits...
ps - friends don't let friends eat farmed salmon.

Mia makes very nice wines under the Selene and Chessler (sp?) label that fly well under the radar it seems. I always supported them in HI.
