Is there any way to fix this?

If you post at the exact same time as another poster somebody's post disappears.  I know I'm not alone in losing posts due to this issue.

Please, please take a look at this.

Thanks.

DITTO!

Using the back key on the browser does not refresh your composed data. Puff, it's gone. Really frustrating!

I've just noticed this yesterday... Winetex, it was actually your post that one.

I think I've only noticed it however, for when two people are posting to the same forum... not other forums somewhere else.

Would you agree with the above? Or did you have a different experience?

Thanks.

It happens when two people are posting to the same thread.

Have you noticed it only with the Quick Reply? Or have you also noticed this with the full reply editor?

I've just made a change to the forums which has reportedly fixed this issue for someone else. Please let me know if this occurs again... or after a week or two you are OK. Thanks!

This has happened to me quite often (just lucky I guess). I thought I would solve the problem myself by composing long posts in Word and pasting them to the post but that became a pain in the arse. Now I make it a point to copy the post as I type it and if the sucker disappears I've got it on my clipboard.

As far as I know the quick reply.

Thanks Brad. I will let you know if I experience it again.

Yea, I'm thinking about removing the "quick reply" area until this issue can get resolved. This doesn't seem to happen in the full reply editor.

No, no please don't remove the quick reply. It's good for actual quick replies and quoting is super easy.
