I have received private emails and responded to them no problem- but any time I try to send one myself- it says user name not found??? What am I doing wrong? THanks.

Do you mean EMails or PMs?

jazin, if you are sending one to a user with a space between two word or letter, you must put an underline in the space. ie. j_b or VCA_Revlis. I made that mistake in the beginning. Hopefully, that is all the problem is.

the easiest way is to click on a user's name, which takes you to their profile, the go to the bottom & click on send a private message. this way you don't have any oppurtunity to type their name incorrectly.

Thanks everyone- I think its the underscore that I am missing.
But I'll also try the profile route as well.

I like the 'Add User To Address Book' function, too. It is available on the User's Profile screen. This way, you can just scroll down the list until wou find the user you want and you'll never get the address wrong, nor will you have to look up the person's profile to send them a message. Easy as pie!

Actually, TJ is absolutely correct. That is the BEST way to approach it.

a. Just type in the name (correctly).
b. Select, "Add User..."
c. That User is ALWAYS there now. Just click on the DropDownListBox & boom. And, if that person is ever on-line @ the same time as you. You see that User to the right.

As TJ says, easy...
