Just FYI - Since the backend of the site was upgraded, and even the Forums software was updated (bug fixes to deal with the new backend), some new javascript files might need to be downloaded to your machine.
Clearing cache will force the download of those new files.  Maybe that will help.
Regardless, the new editor will be implemented soon, and the fancy preview might have to go away until it's fixed in the new version of the forums which is coming in a couple of months.
However, the new editor has it's own preview feature, so preview won't be gone... just the fancy AJAX button style preview.
