pizinah, good question... but technically, since it is a WYSIWYG editor, (not the quick reply, but the real "reply" link in the post) you are actually looking at the preview as you type. There is no code to make something bold... you already see it as bold. There is no code to put in for links, you already see what the link looks like... etc.etc.
Because of that there is no "preview" feature like the old board had.

But when I hit the real "reply" link I don't see any buttons for enriching the text. All that is there are the emoticons. ---------------------------------------------- And It doesn't wisiwyg at all. One cannot even get a blank line between paragraphs. ---------------------------------------------- Am I missing something or is this something coming in the future?

Unfortunately, the problem you are experiencing is browser related. In the next week or so, I'll be upgrading the "core" of this site. This upgrade includes a text editor control that will hopefully be more compatible with the browser you are using. In the meantime, all I can suggest is to try using the Firefox browser on your Mac.
