| A MAJOR MAJOR update to the VinoCellar forum software will be coming very soon... as early as this weekend, as late as a couple more weeks. I realize the last big migration was very painful... but this update will look and feel very similar, and the same editor will be used, but the difference is, the new upgrade has lots of new stuff and features, including much better search. I'm not going to list all the new things.. I'll just let you find them. I expect a bug or three to creep into the new forums, but hey, that's what makes it fun and gives me something to stress over. :-) So if the forums are unavailable for a few hours in the next few days, you'll know why. | | | If you drink wine, you get smarter.... |

| The main site isn't changing, so it'll still remember your sign-in as well as it does right now. Jump to first unread is still a feature, and the search is much better. :-)
Only you guys will be able to actually tell me jus thow much better. |

| That last update gave us a vastly improved search engine. If this update provides even vaster improvements, it will be a site to behold. I read elsewhere that the developer is changing the name to Vuil and plans to market the search engine commercially. Color me excited. | | | |

Well, the upgrade succeeded, but then I ran into a bug I was not able to work around. The developer will be stepping through the issue tomorrow, so if he finds the problem and has a fix, we'll try the upgrade again tomorrow... or whenever he finds the issue.
Therefore, I have restored the site to it's original versions... no data was lost.
