A bit of a computer novice here...when putting a link on a post, how do you rename or change the title of that link?

If you are talking about doing this in this forum specifically then, while you are editing a post, click the URL icon. It will prompt you for the URL (which you can cut from the original post and simply paste it into the box). After you click OK it will prompt you to type in the "prompt" you want to name this link. Voila! Just like I did below.

The URL link button is just below the post box titled Instant UBB Code down just to the right of the gremlins. Then a new text box appears up near the top of the page. Try it, you'll like it.

MM,

You have one too many http's in there. When copying the full URL into that field, exactly as you did, the FIRST thing you need to do is delete thehttp:// that shows up in the window by default.

Cheers, y'all
