| A big thank you to everyone that came to dinner last night at Enotria! It was great to finally offline with you folks. I had a fabulous time, and I appreciate the hospitality you all showed. Particular thanks to Brent for organizing and winebrat for hosting!
Hope to see everyone again real soon to pop a few more corks.
Here's a list of the wines that I tasted:
NV Billecart-Salmon Brut Reserve Champagne 2004 SQN The Rejuvenators 2002 HdV Chardonnay Carneros 1993 Gaja Barolo Sperss 1998 Mauro Veglio Barolo Vigneto Arborina 2001 M2 Vintners Syrah Lock Vineyard Paso Robles 2005 Pelerin Pinot Noir Rosella's Vineyard Santa Lucia Highlands 2005 Etude Pinot Noir Carneros 2001 Bressler Cabernet Sauvignon 2003 M2 Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon Clone Six Allen Family Vineyard Rutherford 2004 M2 Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon Clone Six Allen Family Vineyard Rutherford 2003 Keenan Cabernet Franc Spring Mountain District Napa Valley 2002 A. Rafanelli Zinfandel Dry Creek Valley Sonoma County 2004 Modus Operandi Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley
Thanks for bringing a bunch of Cali wines that I wouldn't otherwise get the opportunity to taste. We don't see any of those labels back in Toronto, so it's appreciated.
I would say that my favourite wines last night were the M2 Syrah and the Bressler Cab. I'm quite disappointed with how the Veglio Barolo was showing. It's still very closed and nothing like the bottle I tasted in Italy last May. My apologies for that. I've got a glass or so left to try tonight, so maybe it will be more expressive.
If anyone ever makes it up to Toronto, please let me know!

my first time at Enotria, and I digged the place. Probably one of the most memorable wine dinners I've had the pleasure of attending.
