Have you noticed that people who attend offlines typically increase their participation here? I do, especially people who have offlined for the first time or are new to the board. Just a random thought that I thought was more appropriately placed here.....

Yes, Thomas, I've noticed that as well.

Off-lines are great places to "convert" the uninitiated.

Offlines are a great place to make them drink the dump bucket! Once they do... there's no turning back!

I'm the opposite. I started on the boards. I've never been to an offline. I hope to break that vicious cycle soon.

Shame on all of you. As respected members of the VinoCellar website, I, Wine Dictator, order all of you to have more fun by getting to as many offlines as possible!

Ok, I'm throwing a little weight around..but I think it's necessary.

Yea, it'll be a first I think when someone partakes of a spit bucket...........

No one has really had a real wine tasting where spit buckets were needed.

The Seattle Soiree was a bit like that.... BUT NO SPITTIN WAS GOING ON THERE BOY!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JUST A LOT OF DRINKING!!!!!!!!!!

Well Revlis,
To uphold the spirit of Vinocellar, I have not attended at an off-line yet so to help I will hold an offline here on Friday. I will provide all wine, organise it at the best restaurant in Auckland (Antoines)and pay for all food and wine consumed.
Any takers.......what do you mean ,no? Too far away.....bloody pacific.

I can't make it Jeremy. However, I do intend to stop in over the next two years. When I do, you'll be the first to know.

Still room at the New Orleans July Swamp 'n Stomp - deadline May 4.

Revlis, yes, there was a whole lotta drinkin' going on in that Northwest pasture. I find it interesting that stray bottles keep popping up in tasting notes, etc., under the auspices of "I don't how this got in my cellar, but..."
