Here is the date for Round 2 of the Poker & Pinots Showdown. Sun March 14th 6:30pm at my place in Ewing, NJ. No need to bring wine. As I won the last round, I will supply all of the wines. Just bring your $ and your best poker face.

Won't neccessarily be all Pinots this time. But I can smell the cork coming out of a magnum right now...

I want to cap the game at 6 players. Otherwise, we could be there all night. If someone wants to volunteer as the dealer, great. If not, we will rotate as we did last time.

Who's in?

I work until 5 on Sundays. By the time I get home it will be about 6:15 or so. If you guys want to start then that's fine. I don't think I can start much earlier though. Plus if you remember, vintyro was a good 45 minutes late. Traffic, whaddaya gonna do.

Tie, you should just take the train to Trenton and I'll pick you up at the station. It's 8 minutes from my house.

So far...

I'd like to play but I keep forgetting to check my calendar at home. I'll check this weekend and post here if I'm free.

Don't know yet - mrs.vt is out for that weekend so you can keep your money. And I may make it, so more money for you.

Count me in as a maybe - for now.

p.s.: I will leave earlier this time so I dont hold up the game.

Joe Jazin is in. He left me a message on my cell that he's been watching Poker on the tube and has the itch real bad.

jb -

But if we want *good* wine we should bring it ourselves, right?

Looking forward to this one (finally).

I will be pouring lots of wonderful wines from Bulgaria.

Actually, I think I will keep these wines blind for you guys and see what you think of them. They will probably range in price from $10 to $100 per bottle, and all points in between.

I picked out the wines for Poker Night. 2 Whites 6 Reds. I think I'll keep you guys in the dark about them, but I'm pretty excited. Some of the reds will need a good hour decant before you guys arrive. I haven't tried a few of them. Hopefully they will all show well.

Ya know JB... it might be a little dangerous having your wine cellar in the same room as the poker table....

*evil grin*

Anyhow, I'm so looking forward to this....
