My handle says it all I guess- except that Dehlinger is a heck of a lot closer to me than Sociando Mallet!
Dehlinger is having an open house Friday-Sunday, April 16th-18th. They will be tasting some of the newly released wines and featuring several 1999 Pinot and Syrah bottlings on a rotating basis.To quote from the mailer:"this event is not open to the general public and is only for our mailing list customers and their house guests or traveling companions."

Well I'm not inviting anyone to stay over but how about "traveling companions"? I would suggest, ideally, either the Friday or Saturday. The winery is located on Guerneville Road in Sebastopol- the open house ends at 5pm. One place for dinner I would like to try is the Farmhouse Inn in Forestville- the SF Chronicle
raves about the food here, but I'm not wedded to any one restaurant, and I'm open to suggestion.

Dehlinger is beautiful and the wines are fine indeed. any takers? Oh, come on, start the ball rolling.

Gee, this event plus Brent is putting together dinner on Sunday in Napa. I will have to talk to the Duchess about this...
