| Sarah and I will be in the Valley beginning Sunday, April 18th. We're staying in Calistoga for a few days so I can recoup following our Easter production at work. We're trying to round up some folks for an evening of fun. I'm open to suggestions as far as restaurant and theme.
Brent Null - 2
Bressler - 2
WineBrat - 2
Anyone else?
Edited to include WineBrat

| Any suggestions you guys? I would like to try Pinot Blanc again and Sarah has never been and would REALLY like to go there. Does that sound OK with you all? | | | |

| I have not had a good meal at Pinot Blanc.

| Pinot Blanc's chef is starting to come into his own. We have had some nice food there. It is not yet predictable, but has recovered from the worst days. Plus NO corkage.
Terra is excellent, but we will pay corkage on every bottle. If PB is too risky, we might consider Cindy's. Good food and they will likely be open to negotiated corkage, especially if we don't insist on new glasses for every wine.
Might be a good time to try some older Roennfeldt Road shiraz...

| You guys would know best. I will follow your lead on this one. I think Sarah was just excited about their menu items. But if the quality of the food is unpredictable, I'd rather eat elsewhere. | | | |

| Are the Veal Cheeks still on the PB menu? I know, it was a couple of chefs ago but man they were fantastic! And what a match for a nice Pinot! | | | |

| As long as we go somewhere with good seafood and good salads, I'll be happy. The things I was looking at on PB's menu were the endive salad and the salmon. | | | |

| Well, I suppose if we go to Terra I would be forced to eat the lobster with saffron risotto. Sheesh. The things I do for you guys... | | | |

| Sarah,
That sounds more like Terra food. I'm having dinner this weekend at Cindy's. I'll see if I can bag a copy of the menu and post it for you.
Personally I like the food and atmosphere at Cindy's better.

| I looked up Cindy's menu on the web site. No seafood. The chicken looks good though. Whatever everyone else wants to do is fine with me as long as we don't spend a fortune. Less than $100 per couple would be good. Less than $80 would be even better. | | | |

| After looking at both menus, Cindy's appeals to me more. That would be my vote. | | | |

Not necessarily. All depends on where you go. Cindy's looks promising.

Ross and I had dinner at Cindys awhile back.
