| After going again last night, and just loving the fact that you can cherrypick the wine list all day. I would actually like to finally schedule a dinner there like we have spoken about. I can reserve the room overlooking the cellar. It only holds 15 people though. If we can settle on a date (maybe a friday in March?) I can take care of it. Food (5 course tasting menu is $75 plus tax and tip. Assuming we drank 10 btls wine between 15 of us, I would say the average btl cost would be $100-$125 (as there are many gems less than 100 but many more at around 200. I think we could make this fun if people are willing to shell out $250-$300 per person in total at the end of the night. They do have have rooms for those who do not want to travel afterwards at reasonable rates. PM if you are interested and also with possible dates. I throw out March 12 as a possibility. | | |

| We've only been there once, but we were very pleased. Unfortunately, Friday nights are out for us, but don't worry, it's a big drive anyway and I don;t know that my wife would be up for it. | | | |

| Fridays was just thrown out there, but I am open to whatever dates work. I just think the Kittle House is the best place to do this sort of thing where you can taste amazing wines for an amzingly low price. $200 - $250 was also just a mention although I think it is fairly realistic if 15 people drink 10 btls of wine @ $125 average...
$1250 divided by 15= $83 Food = $75 Tax and tip= $35 Total $190ish | | | |

| I'd be interested. Can you give me an idea about the "gems" to be found on the list? | | | |

| We were there about 5 or 6 years ago and I remember Turley Hayne Zin for $70. I'm sure those prices are ancient history. | | | |

| I think you can get Turley for under $100 there. The gems are too numerous to name. They have everything. The only section that lacks is bordeaux. | | | |

| I'm just guessing here, but the only Turleys under a hundred there are probably the Old Vines and Juvenile. dp, any chance they'd allow corkage? | | | |

| If they would allow corkage, we might be tempted... | | | |

| They do allow corkage but I think the beauty of going there is ordering off of the list, kind of like the dinner we all had at Sparks, but much more advanced wine list. I am all about corkage at the right restaurant but this is not one of them. 2001 Integrity is $150 for crying out loud! | | | |
