| Well, there is already a thread running with davidn offering to host a tasting in Los Gatos for Jill and I when we are in the Bay area (Blake will not be with us).
If anybody would like to get together, but cannot make his tasting, let us know here. The one thing we know is that we have to eat dinner every night, so if anyone would like to join us, please let us know what nights work for you. And what part of the Bay area you would like to meet.
We will be in the Bay area from Thursday, Janaury 22nd, leaving on Sunday the 25th. At this point, it is looking like the Friday evening will be taken, but Thursday and Saturday are available for us. We have not yet made hotel reservations, but will likely stay downtown all nights. However, we are willing to drive wherever anyone will have us!
Well, OK, maybe we should limit it to a drive of two hours or less, given the level of traffic on each night.
Let us know if you are available and want to eat and taste some wines!

| Mike,
JW1, Skwid, and I all work in downtown SFO. In addition to Davidn's cellar party (hopefully on Friday), I'd be glad to join in a wine dinner or Thursday or Saturday. If I got to pick, I'd choose Thursday. JW1 just did a masterful job organizing the JimmyV dinner, although we might have significantly fewer people attending since many may choose to attend the Davidn event instead.

| I'd recommend another visit to Town Hall or Andalu. | | | |

| Does it say somewhere that if you go to one you can't go to the other?
Have glass, will travel! Thursday and Friday are both a go for me. I cannot make anything (other than breakfast) on Saturday.

| I'm definitely interested, but would prefer Sat. The last gathering at Town Hall for JimmyV was great, but it is tought getting there on a weekday. | | | |

| All of this sounds good to me. I will break the two days out into separate threads for Thursday and Saturday. We are willing to do both if there are any takers, so sign up in your favorite thread!
And yes, anybody is welcome to show up on multiple nights. We would hate to be the only ones who do!
