This may not be the proper forum for this, but what the hell...

One year ago today, based on an email I got from ShortTheWorld, I logged on to a brand new website called VinoCellar.com.

The addiction began on day one, and after one whole year, it's bigger/better/stronger/faster than ever!

Thanks Revlis - for giving us a place to share our passion, our questions, our concerns, and our triumphs in the world of fermented grape juice!

Here's to many more successful years of posting and cameraderie!!!

Yes indeed, happy B'day VC! As GATC knows, when this site first fired up I was fairly skeptical. Well, it's obvious that I've been convinced! This is the first site I visit in the morning, and the one I always go to first for wine info. Congrats to the VC cru for putting together such a terrific place!

We'll have lots of 'member anniversaries' coming up -- not only today, but especially for the next day, week, month or so when membership exploded upon going live.

It's a great place to hang out and chit-chat. Now if only I could get those bozos at comcast to fix my connection at home!

I have 5 more days to go before I hit my anniversary here at VC. Look at me with my measy 1600+ posts compared to TJ, budman, WineTex, et al. You people have no lives!

My anniversary is coming up in two days. I think the night I signed up, LCC and TJ were already geezers, if not double geezers.

But then again, TJ does have his cats working on his behalf.

happy birthday. this site has changed my life. not just my wine life but my enitre life. i have met some very wonderful people here who i now consider very close friends. some of these people i have met and some i haven't even seen a picture off. this site just feels like home to me. like a second family that i can go to when i need to unload some steam or just get some advice wether it wine or just life's problem's in general. i am forever greatful to the people who made this happen and to tj for pimping it over on ws. it was his link that brought me here. i have not yet made my one year anniversary yet bit in 10 short months i have gained a lifeful of knowledge. once again thanks to all the users on this site.
