| ...hey, that rhymes. Anyway, GATC is here on the 27th of Dec. Now, obviously that is a holiday season & many are not available. Just trying to get a feel who is available & can possible make it on that day. Probably easiest to hold this in NYC. We will decide on a place later (if enough people can make it).
I am here that day but as always my situation is dependent on the babysitting. So, here is what we have so far:
GATC: 2 (I think).
LCC: 2 (may be).
Ojeffso: 2 (may be).
Short: 1 or 2 (may be).
ttepper: 1 or 2.
jazins: 2 or 3.
Revlis: 1 (may be). | | |

LCC: 2 (babysitting services permitting).

| Doc, sorry that I missed you when you were in our area. Unfortunately, some long lost friends arranged for a dinner the same night and I could not get out of it.
I rearranged my flight so that I can attend the Insight Bowl in Phoenix, so I will be flying in to JFK around 4:30pm that day. I assume that I will be able to take a taxi to the location and easily make it in time.

| Any suggestions for a Restaurant? What are the chances of finding a BYOW in NYC on a Saturday night???? | | | |

| Henry's Evergreen has a $10 corkage fee that's dropped if you buy one bottle off their list. When 13 of us went there with your buddy we bought one bottle and brought 12. No corkage. And they prepared a great meal to pair with our wines. I am really sorry to miss this one. | | | |

| How about CITE, it is one of our favorites... on W 51st near Radio City(sister rest. of Smith & Wollensky) they have that $59.95 , 3 course wine dinner... the food and atmosphere are great and maybe they would let us bring some wine. Want me to call them and ask? | | | |

| Called CITE- $63 pp prixe fixe wine dinner- 3 courses incl 4 wines. BUT, we can also bring our own wine (we can skip their wine, unless it is something good)... w/ no corkage- BUT the wines we bring can not be on their wine list- so we would have to coordinate the wines we are bringing in advance. I made a reservation for 12 pp for 8:00, which is when they start to serve the wine dinner- figured it was safer to have a reservation holding , as we can always cxl. it! | | | |

| I just realize that my flight will come into JFK at 5:15pm instead of 4:30pm as I had mentioned earlier.
If possible, I would like to ship the wines out to someone beforehand.
