| It looks like the 15th is a 'go' at Oliveto for several folks, so I thought I'd break this out into it's own thread for confirmations.
So, who can make it? So far:

| Looks like Pyang is in as well. We're looking for Doc and wine4ever from Austin to chime in. Skwid: I'll be sending you my dry cleaning bill this time. Don't be surprised if it amounts to the price of a '77 Fonseca! | | | |

| Lafon, what you wear can be purchased for less than the price of a 1977 Fonseca Besides I was thinking perhaps a 1955 Taylor might be needed for this fine evening (I think that's what we had last time we did this at Oliveto). Either that or a magnum of 1985 Krug? | | | |

| If we're all bringing a bottle, I've got '74 and '77 Monsanto Poggio Riserva Chiantis that I bought from the winery's cellar this past summer. I've never had a Chianti aged so long, so no promises on what these will taste like! | | | |

| Well, now I've gone and done it... Seems I have a schedule conflict, and may not be able to make it after all. What time where y'all thinking of starting? I may be able to come by late | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| I think we started about 7:00 p.m. or so last time we did this with Pyang, Lafon, Cooker and myself. We closed the place | | | |

| Just an FYI, we may be a little late, and probably won't be too hungry, so don't wait on us to order! But we'll definately bring wine | | | 2008: the end of an error | |

| Oops. I must bow out.
My son had reservations for TFL that night and he was going to take MrsN. She called TFL to see if she could change it to a three (I told her no way would they do that). Just my luck; they said YES. Guess I gotta go with them. Seriousely, I would rather go with all of you. | | | |

| Well Davidn, now you'll just have to order a dozen 1997 Cal Cabs off the FL wine list. Look forward to the tasting notes! | | | |

| So here's the talley as of today:
Confirmed: Doc +1 Eric and Teri SFWine Lafon Pyang Skwid
Maybe: GATC Wino4ever
As to what to bring, I think we're looking at basically anything red. Also, if you're a stickler for certain stems, go ahead and bring your own. Oliveto's has some that suffice for me.

| Here's the latest list of attendees:
Doc +Mrs. Doc Eric and Teri SFWine Lafon Pyang Skwid Eric Lundblad Leonard
Maybes: Steve and Lisa Rigisich Miss Amy She_laughs
People have been asking me for a theme for this one. The food at Oliveto's, IMHO, favors rhones and italian varietals, but let's just say that the theme for now, will be ANYTHING BUT '97 Cal cabs!
See everyone there! | | | |
