Send a PM to Seek. He lives pretty close to Albany.

We were there the 25th of July. Very fun. Ate at a great inn called Springwater (or something like that). Very good, contemporary food -- large selection. Had a nice cab blend.

I'm near also. Seek what BYOBs do you know in Saratoga. My favorite restaurant is Chianti but he's a stickler and won't even do corkage.

Chiantis is absolutely absurd when it comes to wine. Their list is criminal and not even that deep. They had the 1997 Antinori Solaia on the list for $750, somone should be arrested for that. Besides that the food is outstanding.

Some resturaunts allow me to bring wine albeit not their general policy. rjs mentioned Springwater and they are one of them, they actually use Riedel stems too. The Algonquin will allow you to bring wine as well.

Yes the wine is a real drawback to that spot. We've been getting a 99 reserve Chianti can't remember the brand.

If anyone is going to Saratoga Racetrack this Saturday, take a hard look at Ten Most Wanted in the Travers. He will not be the favorite.
