There are still four slots open for a Green Gables dinner in Beach Haven on LBI.

Dave MCI will be in town, so what does a good Vinocellar forumite do? Get together and drink wine of course....

August 16th, Green Gables, 8pm.

Going to have some Rieslings and Syrahs.

Reply here if interested. JB, DaveMCI, and myself will be hitting the links day after on Sunday morning if that strikes your fancy as well.

Attendees thus far:

Revlis (1)
JB (2)
Jazin (2)
DaveMCI (1)

Maybes:

Four others.

Yeah, this killed me too. I have a house full of kids this weekend.
Otherwise, Mrs B and I would have been SO there!

THanks JB for another night of fine food and wine! It was great to meet DaveMCI!
I promised TTepper I would post the whites:(from my tiny wine-stained post-it notes)
Piper Heidseck Brut- a very nice sparkler
Christoffel Urziger Wurzgarten Reisling 2001- a little sweet, spritzy-really fun and enjoyable, my favorite white of the nt.
J&HA Strub Niersteiner Patenberg Reisling Spatlese 2001
Mosel Saar Ruwer Gustabfullung 2002 Ockfener Bockstein Reisling Kabinett- was a black and gold label
Donnhoff Oberhauser leistenberg Reisling Kabinett 2001
Joh Jos Prum 1999 Wehlener Sonnenuhr Spatlese(our table- DaveMCI,Revlis,TTepper,Braden,Mr Jazin said had nose of rusted septic pipe- but it tasted good)
(Sorry if any mis-spellings, those Reisling lables are quite confusing)
