The Tri-Valley Tasting Group will meet at 6:00 PM at Wente Brothers Restaurant to taste current release Oregon Pinot Noir on Friday night. Free corkage, private room, Riedel glassware provided, order whatever you want off the regular menu. This is a follow-up to the 2002 Oregon Pinot tasting we did at Wente two months ago.
 
1. Andrew/Xiaopei- '06 Brickhouse "Les Dijonnais" and '06 Brickhouse "Evelyn's"
3. Gary/Liz -'05 Domaine Serene Evanstadt Reserve, and '06 Beaux Freres, Beaux Freres Vineyard, Ribbon Ridge.
5. Tom/Nancy - 06 Shea Homer and 05 Beaux Freres, Ribbon Ridge
7. Al - 2006 Et Fille Maresh Vineyard
8. Chris/Kim - 06 Penner-Ash Willamette Valley and 05 Cristom Louise
10. Jay/Dani - 05 Dusky Goose & 06 Penner-Ash Shea

Hey Tom, I got your email but my reply got bounced back with a 550 error - user unknown. Anyhow, I can't make it, but thanks for the invite! Has the group gone to email distribution for coordination of these events?

Sorry you can't make it. On my email, trgenn@gmail.com will work if the Yahoo address is being flaky.
 
We only used email distribution for this particular event because it was a requested follow-on to the 2002 Oregon Pinot tasting we did for our last event,  and everyone wanted to return. I posted it when we has a last second dropout. We would love it if you would join us for some of these, they are working out pretty well. We always have a theme, but try not to be tooo structured and formal. I believe the next event will be 95 Cali Cabs at Haps on a Saturday out a month or so. Wente has been treating us unbelievably well, and Haps does a nice job too.

Thanks, I am definitely going to keep an eye out for future events. FYI, the email that bounced with the sun.com address.
