| Does anyone have some time in July to do even a moderate dinner gathering, or an afternoon BBQ? it might be too hot for a bbq, but if we can get even 4-6 people for a lunch or dinner in July maybe we can dissuade doubting Thomas from questioning our existence and turning us into a Bigfoot.Â

| July is pretty busy for me, but since you'll be out of commission for a while when junior arrives, I'll try to make it. Early or late July works for me. | | | |

| Mrs. T and I are not available on the weekend of July 27-29 as we'll be in NC. All other weekends are okay.

| I'd like to, but we're up to my eyeballs in July - any interest in the first weekend in August? What goes well with BBQ?

| I am in date depending. July is nothing but birthday celebrations for my extendo family though so it might be rough.

| Tomorrow Julie's cousin is getting married around noon, but i don't know what we will be doing after that... Sunday Julie invited about 6 of her colleagues over for lunch. Tuesday (the 3rd) we could do something as who is going to work on the 4th? Julie works only Mon & Tues of next week. the rest of the week and weekend should be good for me.
if it is just 4-6 people that is probably better.
While i am a Georgia boy and BBQ means pork bbq to me, i was referring to the more general food-on-a-grill BBQ (although Zins and Malbec go with BBQ sauced stuff). we could do Steak & Chicken & Veggies on the grill. If T-Rep comes I am sure i can figure something out.

| With the exception of July 14th (family reunion) I am available any weekend. Otherwise, during the week is ok too.Â

| Ok. 2-4 more people and that will keep it easily manageable. tomorrow night (Tuesday the 3rd ), we will probably start pouring something around 6:30pm maybe earlier.
burgers, Hot dogs, maybe some chicken, tomato and avocado salad, grilled veggies, etc.
haven't thought of a theme, but maybe a white or 2, some rose, maybe a pinot or zin or whatever or maybe even some blind tastings ... very informal.
don't know if anyone else is able to do that short notice, but we will be here either way.
We live in Old Town Alexandria a few blocks from the Balduccis, first 2 or 3 or 4 people that are interested i will PM you the address.
AlexRed - 2 , still thinking. might fill any "gaps" since all my stuff will be available. Jamietown - 2 , thinking about a brown bag special

| Alex...
Thanks for getting the Cru, or at least some of it, together tonight. Mrs. T and I have had plans with some other friends to hit Sushi-Ko in Georgetown tonight and wouldn't have been able to make it. Hope you all have fun.

| Thanks Red-- hope it's a great time-- herring family gathers here for dad's Memphis ribs, and accompanying dishes- with a little KB and other pinots for the afternoon and some drifting over to the Mall  if the weather holds. Worst rain we've been in three years ago watching the fireworks so this year we'll watch on PBS. Say a prayer for those who make the celebration special. Norm | | | |
