Well, I posted my notes for our group tasting into all of the forums. They came from Germany, Austria, Oregon, California, and Austrialia.

Hopefully, you won't find them too fragmented. Couldn't figure out how to link them all to this post.

Our next tasting is set for 12/28 when we will be having cabs, with me opening the 94,96 & 98 Dalla Valle and everyone else bringing something blind. That should be an excellent one and I'll try to take good notes.

Jules, that's one of the faults I find with this place. Too many places to post. I haven't even opened half of the threads and I doubt I will. I think the layout of the WS is much better. I hope you post your all your Dalla Valle notyes on one thread. I'll add my '90 notes when I opne the one I have standing up. Be sure to give those wines plenty of air time.

Jules, thanks. It would be great if you can in one place (this is as good as any) to write any notes that would provide comparisons between the rieslings from the different region.

The WS format is good for this type of tasting (cross region), but I like the tasting notes setup here since I can actually find TN's on similar wines. By providing some summary notes on the differences in place like this, it minimizes the weakness of this format, while maintaining the strength.

Perhaps I'll write a quick tutorial about how to post links... we'll have to see what my energy level is in the coming days.

Anyhow, I read through the notes.. much better than I could do with so much wine.. thanks Jules.
