I'm re-starting this thread here under VC offlines.

We have to get going on this if it is going to happen. I need a minimum of 12 people with a max of 18.

( Paul H ) Put me down for one.

( WineTex ) this has truly been a great time the past two years. We are planing a trip to CA about this time so we may be able to work this out. Can you please order up some nice weather this time? The kids were actually playing out on the beach in the rain last year.

I'll talk to the Mr. to see what he thinks.

Quote:

( mountainman ) Is it that time already? You know it will rain that weekend in March and be nice in April this year. Put me down for 2 possible, must check with the boss.

Quote:

( Al ksyrah ) Not to put a hex on you, but I think you vacillated between dates but eventually went to the March tasting last year. I bumped into you and at least one other person who attended your offline last year. Personally, I prefer to attend the March tasting because some of the wines are limited and also because I'm easily traumatized by delayed gratification. The April date has the advantage that the tasting is less crowded.

Quote:

( BellaDonna ) Are there going to be any stops at La Superica?

Quote:

( davidn ) I garantee it isn't going to rain!

Do you think they would let us byo at Superica?
I can arrange to have one of the dinner courses at the offline be from La Superica if you are coming BD.

As outrageously fun as this tasting and La Superica will be, I have to send my regrets as I have mission work south of the border that week.

Yeah, you and three other bachelors. I'd excuse you if it was a wine trip but...

I'm seriously considering making the trip this year - please put me down for 2, tentative. I should be able to firm things up by early next week.

Whoa, I'm on the list. Dang! This kind of DavidN offline is an event to remember and I lived vicariously through the accounts of the event last year. If only I could be two places at the same time, but I'm booked Saturday night with my usual Wine Cask Futures gang. The first wine board offline I attended was with this group, so it's like a reunion for me.

Hey, don't you really want to go the April event? In any case, I hope to see you at the tasting.

Depends on what gets organized and whether that "family thing" of your happens (just to keep the rumor going).
