Thanks for arranging LCC!

What type of food is Village Gourmet?

Brad, same owner of Mignon Steakhouse & only 5 mins from Mignon Steakhouse. I think it is American with Asian influence. Supposed to be pretty good & reasonably priced.

LC17SMP: One never knows?!? Seriously, I know that I will not bring any Neals.

Pitiful response. Chicago, Toronto, Dallas, and the DC area get lots of people for their dinners. Why should the more populous NYC area get so few? Well, I hope those of you attending have a great time with some outstanding wines and post reviews.

What do you mean pitiful? LCC can populate a tasting all by his lonesome!

There are many members here in the NYC area and a dinner with the Neal people deserves more participants. If it was in the DC area, there'd be 15 or 20 people going.

aaargh.. missed this, as the office has been insane: would have made it, but mother-in-law's father-in-law passed away just this evening. Unfortunately have to pass (again!) Catch you Neal folks in the Valley this coming October instead.

Yes, I can!. And, I did (again)!

Actually quite a few people expressed interests in this, but the date just did not work out. A few people had to cancel in the last 3 days alone.

But, now worries Board_O, Dave is correct : I am bringing 11 people with me. So, we have 13 people in total. Of those, 7 are on the Neal List & the rest are winos &/or discovering the obsession known as wine as we speak. So, this is a great initiation night for them. It all works out as that’s just about the limit to get a good taste of each bottle. And, I am sure some great wine(s) will fulfill their destiny on Satur.

It turned out to be 7 as some of my friends also had issues come up @ the last min. Strange type of a date it was…

It made for a smaller group but a great time! I'd like to thank Mark & Gove for making the trip to NJ & sharing all that wine with us. Lot of laughs, good times, great wine, & really good food. Mignon Steakhouse was great last night. Actually, it was better than the last time we were there. My steak was perfect.

You know where to find me (us) to do it again!
